About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic team at a very reputable and established organization in Sacramento, CA. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong technical skills in accounting systems and Excel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process approximately 300 invoices per week, accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed.
  • Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with 1099 processing is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Accounts Payable
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in ERP Accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
    • Proficiency in the basics of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
